Features & Specifications
- Built out of steel
- Powder coated to withstand the abuse and weather in field use Predrilled screw holes to allow attaching to solid surface for secure nonslip gripping
- Fully welded construction for fail safe use, no rivets or screw that may become compromised over time
- Hinge plug welded, not riveted or screwed to upper and lower clamp plates
- Commercial grade flexible rubber gasket which is attached with 3m pressure sensitive tape to inside of upper and lower clamp plates. The flexibility allows for the ultimate grip on any cable, including optical ground wire, without any slippage. Is not affected by common cleaning agents used to clean the fiber cables, including d-gel, alcohol, etc.
- Clamp has a full 12” long by 3 ¼" gripping surface. This is larger than others and provides more stability and gripping area for cable immobility
- The clamp opens to greater than 90 degrees for ease of laying the cables into the clamp
- Requires NO adjustment with tools. Simply open, lay cables across surface, flip top of clamp down and tighten the large machine nut with one hand. Tighten as much as needed to prevent slippage. This allows one hand to hold the cables or enclosure in place while securing the cables into clamp. Other clamps require adjustment at times of a plunger bolt requiring usage of tools and stoppage of work
- Designed to hold the cables and NOT the enclosure. Other clamps grip the enclosure itself but are enclosure specific. By gripping the cables, this clamp can be used in any prepping or splicing scenario without being limited to enclosure style.
- Designed for new or existing plant
- Allows bundles of cables or single flat drop cables. Hinge side is wider for larger bundles or diameter cables while the machine nut side can be tightened down and cinch onto the smaller diameter cables
