Our 1 in a MIL spotlight recognizes Ernesto Cazares

Millennium’s Influential Leaders (1 in a MIL) inspire people to be their best versions while helping drive the business forward. Their goals include people and results; they create circles of influence and lead by inspiring people around them to improve. They contribute to the overall success of Millennium by the way they carry themselves, support the organization, and overall contribute to our culture. They are caring and curious. They are dependable and passionate. They are one in a Millennium.

Millennium Way: Passionate, Curious, Caring, & Dependable.

For Q3, we wanted to focus on our core value of being Curious. Ernesto Cazares, Warehouse Lead in Oregon, demonstrates curiosity daily. Ernesto has been with Millennium for nearly 3 years, and he consistently seeks opportunities to learn, improve processes, and share insights with his team. His proactive problem-solving and client-first approach make him a key player in delivering seamless, hassle-free experiences.  Ernesto is described as a “Rockstar” who never hesitates to exceed expectations and is always the first point of contact when unique situations arise.

Let’s Hear What His Manager, Dave Rink, Regional Fulfillment Manager, Has to Say:

I am thrilled to recognize Ernesto for not only living up to our value of being Curious but for truly living up to all of Millennium’s core values. Being Curious is not only asking questions but having a client first focus and educating colleagues, clients, and most importantly yourself.

Ernesto frequently shares discoveries and insights with colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within our team. Ernesto shares interest in exploring new ideas, asking insightful questions, and seeking out opportunities to expand his knowledge and skillset. This curiosity has been a driving force behind his exceptional performance and dedication to our Millennium culture.

I am honored to have Ernesto on our team and looking forward to the coming years! Cheers to you Ernesto!

Tell us about an accomplishment that you’re proud of:

Professionally: Putting in the work and consistent effort to always provide our clients with the best experience Millennium has to offer, and being recognized and awarded 1 in a MIL.

Personally: I have done the Hood2Coast (largest running and walking relay race in the world) relay 6 times.

What’s a goal you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the next year?

I don’t have a specific goal for next year at the moment. As always, I want to continue to grow and evolve professionally and personally so that I can continue to be the best husband and father I can be.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

Golfing with my dad, our weekly family dinners with my parents, spending time with my wife and two sons, BBQs with family and friends, playing ball with my sons, watching their soccer and basketball games, and sometimes even being a coach or assistant coach. You can often find us somewhere on the Oregon Coast or in Sunriver, or, biking and floating on the river.

What is a cause that you care about?

Promoting and encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle for kids through sports and exercise. My wife and I have been a part of sponsorships to help get kids on the field and the court.

Congratulations, Ernesto!

Your hard work and caring spirit make Millennium a truly great place to work. Thank you — You’re “One in a MIL,” Ernesto!
