1 in a MIL: Millennium’s Influential Leaders – Chris Kotwitz

Our 1 in a MIL spotlight recognizes Chris Kotwitz of Millennium Southern Wisconsin.

Millennium’s Influential Leaders (aka 1 in a MIL) help inspire people to be the best versions of themselves while helping drive the business forward. Their goals include both people and results; they create circles of influence and lead by inspiring people around them to be better. They aren’t necessarily managers or have direct reports. However, they contribute to the overall success of Millennium by the way they carry themselves, support the organization, and overall contribute to our culture. They are caring and curious. They are dependable and passionate. They are one in a Millennium.

Today, we are excited to turn that spotlight onto Chris Kotwitz. Chris is a Sales Coordinator at our Delavan location. Chris has been working at Millennium for almost 3 years, in that time he has proven himself to be a jack-of-all-trades at Millennium. He piloted our sales coordinator role and helped develop it into what it is today. He fills in wherever needed- whether it’s to help out when another sales coordinator is out of the office or in the warehouse when they are short-handed. He has a huge influence on training new hires and remains their go-to resource for questions as they learn their new role. He does all of this with his trademark wit and humor that makes him someone everyone wants to work with.

We sat down with Chris to get to know him a little better and hear his experiences about working for Millennium and what he is passionate about outside of work.

Tell us a little about how you’ve personally grown from being a part of Millennium?

Millennium has offered a place to work that represents the values that I personally have. With the culture of this company and with the new opportunities offered, we grow together for a common goal.

What inspires you to wake up every day and bring the best version of yourself to Millennium?

Being part of a team that is driven to be the best for our clients as well as for each other. I strive to do whatever I can to better the company, the business, and our client’s experience.

Is there someone at Millennium that you’d like to recognize who has helped you grow personally?

Gus and Todd have both been influential to me by being supportive, collaborative, and appreciative.

What brought you to Millennium?

The values Millennium stands for were my main reason for applying. That and the growth opportunities

Tell us about an accomplishment (inside/outside of work) that you’re proud of?

I am extremely proud of my sons. They are growing into respectful, funny, compassionate young men. Based on how they interact with others, my wife and I receive constant compliments from the adults with who they interact daily.

What’s a personal/professional goal you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the next year?

To help lead and develop teammates to reach and succeed in their goals.
